FRESHER’S WELCOME AND ORIENTATION PROGRAM

The Fresher’s Welcome and Orientation program was conducted at the campus of Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology on 20th March, 2025. Prof. Dr. Abhijit Sengupta, Director, Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology was present as the Chief Guest in the program. Prof. Dr. Lopamudra Datta, Principal, Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology, Prof. Dr. Saradindu Panda, Principal, Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology & Sports Complex were present as Honourable guests for the event. Representatives from different sections of our college were also present as special dignitaries. The program started with an opening song sung by the students. Then Prof. Dr. Sumana Chatterjee, Principal, Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Technology and the honorable guests gave their valuable speeches to encourage the students in diving into the professional course with dedication, determination and discipline. The “Tetragonals” were then presented the prize for winning the Rangoli Competition organised on 13th March, 2020 by honourable Chief Guest one by one. This session was anchored by Ms. Shirsha Majumdar. Asst. Prof., DSIPST. The baton was then passed to 2nd year students for the rest of the program. Next we moved forward to the next events. Various games and activities were done to select the Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher amongst the bright freshers. This grand event was organized by the 2nd year students of Cultural Club of DSIPST. Eventually the program came to an end with a vote of thanks by Mr. Plaban Saha, Asst. Prof., DSIPST to all the guests, dignitaries, faculty, staff and volunteers who together made this program a grand success.
