The Training and Placement Cell of Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology successfully organized a Placement Talk on 10th February 2026 from 11:30 AM onwards. The session aimed to provide valuable career guidance and enhance the employability skills of students.
The keynote speaker for the session was Mr. Samrat Bose, Assistant Professor and Training and Placement Officer, JIS University. He delivered an inspiring and highly informative talk focusing on essential aspects of career preparation. The session comprehensively covered important topics such as effective CV preparation, commonly asked interview questions, and strategies for confidently and accurately answering those questions.
Mr. Bose emphasized the importance of structuring a professional CV, highlighting key achievements, academic credentials, technical skills, internships, and extracurricular activities in a concise and impactful manner. He also guided students on tailoring their resumes according to job roles and industry expectations.
During the discussion on interview preparation, he provided practical insights into handling technical, HR, and situational questions. He stressed the importance of confidence, clarity in communication, positive body language, and thorough subject knowledge. Students actively participated in the session and found the interactive examples and real-life scenarios particularly helpful.
