Objectives

The Scientific Model Making Competition aimed to encourage D.Pharm 1st year students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical ways, fostering creativity and innovation in pharmaceutical sciences.

The Scientific Model Making Competition was a dynamic event that brought together D.Pharm 1st year students to showcase their creativity and scientific knowledge. A total of 21 students from D.Pharm 1st year participated in the competition, showcasing their creativity and scientific acumen. Students were divided into 6 groups to enhance their teamwork skills.

  • Various types of dosage forms
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing plant layout
  • Ball mill
  • Physiological systems (Digestive system, Cardiovascular system, Urinary system, etc.)

Judging Criteria

Models were evaluated based on:
  • Model Accuracy & Precision
  • Presentation
  • Scientific Validity
  • Choice of Topic

Winners

The winners of the Scientific Model Making Competition were:
  1. 1st Position: Group ‘Digestive System’ (Sk Nahida Sultana, Tina Khan, Bipul Biswas, Sukanta Majumder)
  2. 2nd Position: Group ‘Different types of Dosage Forms’ (Bina Naskar, Nipu Talukder, Dipankar Biswas, Arman Mondal)

Certificates and Winners Trophy

  • Participation Certificates: All participants received certificates of participation, acknowledging their involvement in the competition.
